About Us

 

Education in the Philippines can prove to be a challenge for each individual, especially families  who are  not capable of maintaining a stable job. However, at Kuya Ryan’s Classroom (KRC), we believe in the dictum, “Education is a right, and not a privilege.”  

 

With this mantra, Kuya Ryan’s Classroom was created. The platform was founded by Mr. Mark Ryan G. Deriada, commonly known as “Kuya Ryan” on his YouTube Channel.

Initially, he wanted an increase in viewership in that medium, but because of an inner calling, his sincere advocacy started.  

 

He collated a few teachers from different ESL (English as a Second Language) platforms with an excellent range of online teaching capabilities to conduct free classes to Filipino Students to teach English, in the same way that English is being taught to foreign students. 

 

The main goal of this platform is to make online education free to those willing and eager to learn and affordable to those who desire stable and regular classes throughout the week, for all students from all strata of Philippine society and eventually, the whole world. 

 

If there is one thing that is analogous to all teachers, it is the heart to serve the future of our country - the Filipino Student. 

 

Means are still being brought to the table on how KRC can solidify being one of the pacesetters of free online learning in the Philippines and how it can be introduced to every household nationwide. 

 

KRC promises a quality education from our modules, homework, and virtual classroom activities. The standard of the new normal is being cultivated here at KRC as we begin our journey through the realms of the Digital Age.
